Papermaking in Fourth Grade

Students in fourth grade have been learning about recycling.  One way we can recycle in the classroom is by making our own paper.  Here is a video of Blue Ridge students demonstrating the papermaking process! Enjoy!

Fifth Grade Collagraph Printmaking

Fifth grade students created cardboard collages to print.  Creating a collage for printmaking is called Collagraph Printmaking.  Students observed images of maps and created their own map collage using cardboard for mountains, string for roads and rivers, and glue for trees.  The results are beautifully textured prints that represent a special place!
