Printmaking

The printmaking station was opened this week. Each grade was shown a different technique for printmaking (monoprint on plastic, relief print, folded paper monoprint). Here are some of the results!

They Like Me?!

Today a child told me that he wanted the yearbook dedicated to me. It made my day!

TAB

After going to an art conference, I was inspired to try Teach for Artistic Behavior. This is a method of teaching that creates more student centered learning. This has definitely been a challenge for me. It has been hard for me to let the control go from my hands to the children's hands. But, little by little, it is happening. I love that my kids are being responsible for their own learning and also finding what they love about art!
